Nana Fofie
Nana Fofie, is a 28-year-old singer and songwriter born and raised in the Netherlands of Ghanaian descent. Nana grew up in a wholesome Ghanaian household, for others to be considered quite untraditional. Her late father was an experienced singer who showed her the various sides of music, from modern soul to traditional Ghanaian music to R&B. Nana had her first cosigns from the likes of Nicki Minaj in 2019 , with a highlight performing at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome in front of 15,000 people. Nana’s career has continued to grow with over 60 million total streams, 2023 presents the year of Nana’s breakthrough project.
Nana Fofie has been releasing music since 2015 and has reached a worldwide audience with her music whilst being a Dutch based artist. What makes Nana unique is her way of fusing the Afro beat sound with a sprinkle of Soul and R&B. Her passion for music goes further then just recording,Nana Fofie is all about telling a story and inspiring others. Amartey
Singer/Songwriter and performing artist Amartey with Ghanaian roots was born and raised in Amsterdam Southeast. Amartey has been making music for a while and is certainly no stranger in The Netherlands. He started singing in a church choir and over the years his interest in music grew and he became inspired by artists like Usher , Travis Scott and African artists like Kojo Antwi, and Bisa Kdei .
His musical sound can be described as Afro beats with R&B and Pop influences. His radio-hit Nobody Like You back in 2015 paved a way for Amartey in the music industry making him the support act of Wizkid in early 2016 also releasing the remix to the single Nobody Like You (feat. Sbmg & The Livingtons). Followed by singles such as Time To Remember, I Just Wanna Dance and We Can Do (feat. Morgan & Team Salut). The first EP was his breakthrough which gained the attention for his music. #1 on the iTunes World Music Charts followed by #16 on the iTunes Music Charts. “YBFTS” - YVNG BOY FROM THE STREETS tells you the journey of a young man raised in Amsterdam who takes you on a trip of love, peace, dancing and most of all African vibes featured with artists/producers such as Quesi, Team Salut, MMorgan. From a splendid Eurosonic Noorderslag showcase to performing on National Tv (DWDD) secured his first headline show (soldout), winning the Grote Prijs van Nederland also topped his year and selling out his 2nd headline show.
